During the workshop, we will work within the field of expanded choreography, where choreography is understood more broadly than a sequence of steps – as a method of building relationships, attentiveness and co-presence. We will explore the potential of following movement in the rhythm of our own bodies and of the information present in space, both individually and collectively.

This workshop is also an open space for Deaf and hard-of-hearing participants. We want to create a shared experience of movement, presence and communication that does not rely solely on words. The workshop will be interpreted into Polish Sign Language, allowing you to participate fully in the process and feel part of the group.
This workshop is for you – no previous dance experience is required. Discover and experience art at Iza Tarasewicz’s exhibition Boom through the body, dance and choreography.
„Kępa Mieszczańska. From Needs to Culture” is a series of neighborhood meetings and workshops organized by 66P, which connect art with the everyday experiences of Kępa’s residents. The starting point is universal needs – such as being noticed, rest, exercise, and a sense of security – around which artistic activities, walks, and workshops are built. The project encourages a more thoughtful look at one’s neighborhood, relationships, and local community, without pressure and without the need for prior art experience.
