During the workshop, we will explore together what it means to be seen and heard, and how our experiences shape everyday life in the place where we live. We will begin with a walk through Dominika Łabądź’s exhibition What Can We Not Think, and then we will move on to work with our own reflections and stories.
We will be introduced to the basics of Marshall B. Rosenberg’s Nonviolent Communication method and consider how feelings and needs influence our daily choices. We will also reflect on what we value about life on Kępa Mieszczańska, as well as the challenges it presents.

As part of the workshop, you will create a short personal story about yourself and your place, helping you to see yourself within a local context. Through simple storytelling tools, you will develop communication skills, build confidence, and discover that every story matters – including your own.
By practising attentive listening, naming feelings and needs, and creating your own narratives, you will experience what it means to be part of a neighbourhood community.
Join us and see what becomes visible when you look more closely!
