The resulting film feeds the arts with histories related to the author&#8217;s life and work. The exhibition entitled &#8220;Metric Measures and the Unicorn&#8221; from June 18, 2021 will present the premiere, large-format work &#8220;Metric Measures in the White Goddess Dance Theater&#8221;, which, significantly different from Libera&#8217;s recent photographic projects, reveals the possible beginning of a new direction of the artist&#8217;s activities. It is a poetic tale about the recurring cycle of human imperfection. The unicorn in the title of the exhibition refers to two photographs from the 1980s presented next to &#8220;Metric Measures \u2026&#8221; &#8211; the characters &#8220;Magda&#8221; and &#8220;Pretty Boy&#8221;, captured in the eye of the camera, have teenage androgenicity registered at the moment of transforming into a mature form. Libera himself compares Magda&#8217;s eyes to the eyes of a cat or an owl: &#8220;we feel that there is something eerie there, but we do not understand any of it&#8221;. During the exhibition, Libera together with friends from Rdze\u0144 band along with invited guests will conduct a recording session.
