New place for contemporary art in Wroclaw
Name: Six Six P – Subjective Institute of Culture
Where: Wrocław, Księcia Witolda 66 (Piekarnia)
66P is an independent space in the field of art, which is otherwise dominated by smaller or larger public institutions on the one hand, and on the other – by private galleries. We wanted to establish a place where art and artists will enjoy our once-won trust and the resulting freedom of expression and experimentation.
The founding team of the Studio consists of Renata and Rafał Jarodzki, Paweł Jarodzki and Marek Puchała. The proposed model of the subjective liberated space refers to the tradition of the “third way” (cultural contestation and independent culture of the 1980s and 1990s), which shaped us and gave rise to anarchist spaces of negotiating meaning. We want to be engaged in every sensible attempt to fix the world.

66P was established on Renata Jarodzka’s initiative with the support of Paweł Jarodzki. The founding team and the Studio Board were completed by Rafał Jarodzki and Marek Puchała, while Ania Mituś polished the program and promotional concept. In November 2021, Paweł Jarodzki unexpectedly passed away. In March 2022, 66P and its then president Marek Puchała anded cooperation. Currently, the mission of fixing the world through art is continued by Renata and Rafał Jarodzki, Gosia Sobolewska, Mirek Chudy, Gabriela Pezda and Magda Kotowska.
